I had to return a shirt for my DH to Nordstrom’s, so stopped by Ann Taylor and Banana Republic, to try a few top picks.
First up, white moto from AT. First picture is a larger size, second is smaller. I decided to bring home the smaller and try it on with
3) Boden skirt from last spring/summer
4) Black trousers
5) Black dress (this would be more for evening
6) Navy tulle skirt (I’d wear a navy top, but don’t have one at the moment.)
7) TopShop dotted dress that was a top pick last year.
Thoughts? Should I exchange for the larger size? I like the jacket quite a bit, so am leaning towards keeping it, and adding tops and footwear to expand the possibilities for wearing it.
I also tried on the top pick stretchy ribbed knit tops at BR. LOVE!! Smaller size in 8, larger in 9. I know the fit difference isn’t really visible, but I decided to go with the larger size, for a looser fit on my arms. About to order in 4 colors (black, navy, white, pink) since they’re 50% off right now.
Bonus WIW for shopping yesterday. Jeans are the DL1961 Coco Curvy straights that Angie mentioned in a thread for Janet recently.
