ETA: some of you might remember I had ordered these cream booties that arrived with a flawed sole. The company agreed to send a replacement pair, which arrived today.
The good news. The dye job on the sole looks much better. The bad news? The weird bubble at the end of one toe.(new photo below)
When I pointed it out they responded that their shoes are handmade and subject to variations. Is that a variation?!
Worse is that the original pair also fit better so I’m kicking myself a bit for going down this path. I was already out of sorts today and this didn’t help!

Speaking of footwear… Many of you know of my footwear challenges. After recently finding this leopard bootie from a new to me brand, I saw a few other things on their website that tempted me.
I have coveted the cream Aquatalia bootie for a while but it is beyond the budget I would allocate for occasional footwear.
This cream bootie looked to be built similarly to the leopard boot, which isn’t perfect in my foot, but will work for dressier occasions where I’m not walking for miles.
If it fits similarly to the leopard boot, it will scratch that itch for a dressy white boot at a very modest price point.
Fingers crossed.
