I have white and cream jeans from Ralph Lauren and White jeans from Talbots. Basic, classic straight leg jeans with a slightly higher rise.

Update: here is a good straight leg option. Lucky Sweet N Straight. Contrary to usual advice to size up, I sized down in these, due to reviews. So if you want a looser fit maybe your normal size would be perfect. http://www.6pm.com/lucky-brand.....alps-white 8" rise, 32 inseam. Opaque. I'm actually wearing black undies and you can't tell even with the flash.
Not sure if I'm keeping them. They fit very closely to my current Miss Me's, which is good. But I want to try the skinnies first before I decide. Weird that 6pm didn't ship them together.

Mo, I think those are very similar (identical?) to the Lucky white jeans I scored at major discount earlier this fall. They had all the summer styles on sale, so if you can still find them in a store they were a great deal. I agree, the denim is nice and opaque, hard to find in white jeans sometimes.

In stores, it's a little late to find white jeans (or early - when does the 'resort' collection come out, January-ish?) but online/catalogs might be a good option: I've had good luck with Boden, Talbots, and Eddie Bauer in the past for white jeans. Boden has some cropped jeans on clearance in white, but only some sizes are left:

Oh, also the Vigoss Thompson that were a crazy $8.50 on Amazon are now on 6pm for $24. Still not a bad price. I've not tried them on to offer a review, though.

Ah, let us know how the Big Star skinnies go, Mo. We just started carrying Big Star in Nordies petites, and I really like the straight legs I got (they are blue, however).

I have 100% cotton ecru TR Camerons, which are great for summer, but the BF fit feels to airy for summer, and the yellow stitching too casual for work. I would LOVE to find a thick, rigid (possibly 100% cotton), LOW rise (6.5-7"), skinny pair with no contrast stitching. So far, there have been none of those to try.

For those who like a low rise but need stretch, I did like a pair of Abercrombie ones I nabbed at the flea market. Too soft and stretchy for me, though.

I like the J Crew matchsticks for straights and the toothpicks for skinnies. They are not very stretchy, which I like, although the toothpicks are a tad low in the rise for me. They are supposed to be ankle length, so I got the Tall and they are full length with scrunch on me. I'm 5'4" for reference.

Mo, those look fab on you! I am hoping you keep them. Very sleek and nice.

thx Suz! I worry they're so close to my old white jeans, but then the only issue I had with them was blingy pockets and low rise. This indeed solves those issues lol. Sometimes I think I don't know what I want. Oh, wait, I want it aaaalllllll.

Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment. I have just. one. more. option. HA!!!! I'm going to try the Lucky Charlie's. http://www.6pm.com/lucky-brand.....earl-white Then if it doesn't work I'm off the hunt until I can go in person to try some on after xmas when we hit Tampa for a hockey game.

I have the True Religion Distressed Cameron BFs in white - 100% cotton - very substantial fabric - white stitching (which I really like!). I got them New with Tags off of EBay for a steal - only problem is, they are one size too big for me. I still wear them, but after looking at some of my recent WIWs where I am wearing them, I'm thinking that I need to get them taken in in the hips and upper legs - I'm absolutely swimming in them! I just recently purchased the Banana Republic white skinny ankle jean. They are long enough for me, but not as much scrunch as my regular length jeans, and the rise is a little high for me - 8" I believe. They also do not fit like a skinny on me - more like a straight leg! I haven't worn my BFs much this winter so far - like Rae, they just feel a little airy for winter! I have been wearing the BRs with tall black boots and I love the look!

I have not seen these jeans in person, but just noticed them on the Nordstrom site, since the sizes go all the way up to 36 and the inseam is 34.5":
