I live in a snowy climate and I often like to "up my game" in the snow boot department during NAS. I have a pair of Sorel wedges from the sale a couple years ago that I love, so I jumped at the chance to order their new "After Hours" boot. Turns out I was able to see them in person last weekend and didn't care for the color. They are much more gray in person than olive, and my primary winter coat is a Canada Goose military olive with coyote hood and black lining.
So, while the Sorels are on their way to me (likely to be returned), I'm researching other options. The Pajars look warm and utilitarian but I haven't tried them personally and don't know whether to go for the taller or shorter ones. I'm also curious about the UGG "Elvia" but haven't seen them in person to know whether the Slate or Black would be a better color match. Also, at 5'1, if it might be too long in the shaft for me. I'm also open to other options totally.
Seeking any and all advice about what to try next, preferably before the Early Access is done. Thanks!
