The blue is gorgeous on you, but then the maroon/wine/burgundy is something I don't see that often. sorry, I'm not much of a help.

Both colors are beautiful but my vote is for burgundy if only because in the blue my eye goes to the swimsuit first rather than your face. And I would be jumping for joy to look like you do in a swim suit.

I think the burgundy is a bit unexpected and fresh looking - it also plays beautifully with your skin tone- that said you also look beautiful in the blue but I agree that my eyes go to the suit first in blue one rather than to your face - but with a figure like yours that's not a bad thing!! - rock it darlin'!!!

I love the cut of your suit, Janet. The retro vibe is fantastic with your curves. I tried a retro suit and it just did not work. I am so envious of your shape - your shoulders and cleavage look gorgeous. Love both colors but slightly prefer the berry.
The sport suit is also great. Those legs of yours are amazing. No more swimsuit sadness for you! You have a fantastic body.

Ahahaha! Looks like burgundy and blue are pretty much in a dead heat. I really don't know. I think the blue might be a slightly more flattering color on me, but the burgundy is more unexpected. It seems my swimwear always turns out to be either black and white or blue or turquoise. So the burgundy appeals to my desire for a little variety. Truth be told, I think I like both of these colors better than the one I already have! Too bad I can't send that one back instead.

You look gorgeous in both suits! It's so hard to pick, but I have a slight preference for #1.

I have a strong preference for the blue, as I think it makes your face and skin look brighter while the burgundy makes you appear slightly ruddy. But the style is VERY flattering, so you really can't go wrong. The lap suit also looks fantastic on you.

I am no help because I like both. You cannot go wrong with any of them.
I also have to join the chorus of "you are gorgeous" because you are. Period.

Janet, I'm with Una: can't take your naysaying about your thighs seriously any more, pretty/strong/fit lady! I like the burgundy, though both colors look great on you. The cobalt is more expected, if that makes sense.

I love the blue! But I also like the burgandy. Do you wear make up when you are in your swim wear? If so I think the blue would be lovely, if not maybe the burgundy.

And Janet, perhaps I should post a pic of me in a swimsuit... you will then realise just how good you look lol. I know you are not looking for compliments but you look amazing.

You look great in both! I actually can't decide which I like better. I think the burgundy sets off your coloring even more than the purple, but the purple just seems like it would be so refreshing to look at on a hot summer day.

And, if I looked as good as you in a bathing suit, I'd be seriously finding excuses to wear them everywhere.

I love them both on you - but the blue wins by just a smidge - but only because I always lean towards brighter colors for summer/swim.

(You should keep both. That way, if you have several days in a row by the pool or on the beach, one can be washed and hung to dry while you wear the other... )
