I used to get Princess Di, and Nora Dunn when she was on SNL and we both had short spiky hair.

Almost once a week I get told I remind someone of someone they know. Which makes me wonder - do I have a common face? Or can they just not quite say which gorgeous celebrity I resemble?

It's been many years since I was associated with a celebrity so I'm seriously dating myself here. In my youth I was often compared to "Vicki from the Loveboat" (Jill Whelan) Maybe my super fab feathered wings helped??
And later Helen Hunt (the Mad About You early years) Ok not the best photo comparisons.

Nobody!
(Seriously, no one tells me I look like anyone.)

Fun thread though, you gals have some seriously lovely doppelgangers trying to look like you ^^

Okay, you're going to laugh at this one, but back in the late 80's my friend told me there was a moment in the concert film Stop Making Sense when David Byrne looked so much like me--just for two seconds--that it was startling. I thought "yeah, right," until I saw the film later and knew exactly which scene he was talking about!

Really, Aida? Not Julianna Margulies or Annabella Sciorra? Just two that popped into my head. Of course you are even cuter but there is at least a trace of resemblance IMO......

Mochi, before you posted I went to search for Julianna Marguiles for Aida!

Nancy, I do get the "your hair looks like" or "your smile looks like" but never "you look like" in any strong way. I'm sure there are Arab and Armenian celebs who I look more like, though!

Oh wow she totally has my eyebrows! Nifty ^^

Gotcha. I never even get those...I don't look like anyone famous, but was once told I had a doppelganger out in western Massachusetts (this was a long time ago).

OH! OH! This is getting OT but this guy recently got some press for a fascinating photography project he did. He matched up completely random, unrelated people--some of the results are amazing.

When I was younger, I got a lot of comparisons to Sandra Bullock. In recent years, I've had more comparisons to Rachael Ray. I think it's the brown hair/brown eyes thing. Otherwise, I see no other likeness to either, but I appreciate the comparison all the same!

This site matched me 97% with Kate Winslet . : http://celebrity.myheritage.com/doppelganger-week

When I was a teen , I got Brooke Shields. I think it was the thick brows and strong cheek bones.

I've gotten Rachel McAdams a lot when she has darker hair. Or Natalie Wood. I think for body type, I resemble Charlize Theron - I'm just not as tall!
