Which blue jacket?

I am looking for a cute, casual, slightly funky blue jacket. I'm petite, busty, and an X hourglass. This is me in the jacket I wore yesterday:

Which of these do you think would be most versatile and best on me? (FYI I work from home so I don't need to look "corporate")

I like the color but the style is maybe too classic for me.

I love the style of this but wonder if I can wear the collar and peplum, and also if it will be versatile and casual enough.

Your figure looks a lot like mine. I'd go with the WHBM jacket. It's so chic with the longer length shirt underneath.

I really think the Talbots jacket is gorgeously cut, simple classic and what a color. I think it would look great on you and go with just about anything. I also like the loft jacket. especially with the striped boatneck. That would look super cute with jeans and ballet flats. I guess I'd get both of those jackets!

I am pretty sure that Natalie (goldenpig) has the WHBM jacket and has posted photos of herself wearing it on the forum, so you might look at her photos. I myself prefer the Talbot's, but my tastes are classic in jackets.

My qualm with the Talbots jacket is that I have an hourglass figure and those types of jackets don't work for me. Beautiful, yes, but not cut for curves. This is where "classic" and I part company. There are certain cuts that just don't work.

But the Talbots is a knit so it should be okay for curves. I vote for Talbots too - knit makes it not so classic.
Unless: Lori, do you want to go towards the playful, bombshell-y style of the WHBM jacket?

I am a tall (5'9"), curvy, very busty (36F), hourglass and the regular Talbots "Kate" fit jackets work great on me. Because the Kate fit is cut to nip in at the waist, you can go up a size to accommodate a larger bust and the jacket still looks good and fitted because of that. Just my .02.

But I'd go with your usual size first and agree that a knit will be forgiving here.

Thanks for the input. I actually went to all three stores today. Loft didn't have that sweater jacket. At Talbots I didn't see the one I linked but I tried on a different one:

I liked it quite a bit actually but I need a coupon. The WHBM one is the one I was initially most drawn to, but I didn't like it on me.

Natalie (Goldenpig) has the WHBM jacket. You might check out some of her WIWs.

My fave is that one, FWIW, but the Talbots jacket may be more versatile depending on your style.
