Sheesh, this injury has taken a toll on my free time! Two shoes is great but I'm still limping and pretty uncomfortable. DD#1 and my birthday was this week so we spent the weekend in San Francisco watching the Louis Vuitton races, shopping and eating. It was great but totally exhausting for limpy! I'm relieved that we didn't follow through with a real vacation--I think it would have been too ambitious for me at this point. Hoping that with PT and diligent exercise, I will be walking well enough to go on a trip near Thanksgiving or Christmas. I'm also hoping that at some point, I will be able to wear my regular shoes. PT assured me that I will be able to wear my old shoes at some point--right now, I can't get any of my non-zippered boots on
I just had to share my prezzie from DD's (12 and 15)--they ran (literally) to Target one day and picked up this top (along with some chocolate.) They have a better sense of my style than DH! I was just tickled to death that they made such a fab purchase It's not fashion forward but it's flattering and so cute. I just love it and had to share. I know you could appreciate it!
