Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I am going to need and fight cancer #2. The thyroid biopsy results came, and they are bad. I need to have new surgery, and we will see what later. This is completely unrelated to the tonsilar cancer. Needless to say, I am in shock. I just can not seem to catch a break.

Oh Tanya, I am so sorry! It is very unfair!

However I have read that thyroid cancer is one of the easiest to cure and has a very good prognosis for the treatment so here is a hope.
I had a half of my thyroid removed several years ago and the surgery was pretty simple - they discharged me a couple of hours after the surgery - and recovery was pretty fast.

One of my favorite people in the world is a thyroid cancer survivor and has faired very welll and no reoccurances. Please take care of yourself (especially your thoughts and emotions) during this rough time.
