TS, It's my first day as well!!

After MUCH thought (channeling all my nerves into deciding what to wear, naturally), I am going to wear either a sheath dress and topper OR a pencil and button-down with a cashmere sweater.

I decided to definitely wear a skirt or dress, as after a lot of looking around at blogs and articles I decided skirts and dresses will just look nicer and I want to make a good first impression, as I will be meeting quite a few new people, I suspect!

Good luck! I'm making a change after almost 7 years, and am changing industries. I imagine that after such a long stint it will be both exhilarating and terrifying for a while. You are beautiful, creative and brilliant, though; I'm sure you'll nail it!

Jenava - isn't it exciting? We'll have to check and see how we both did at the end of tomorrow. I like your outfit ideas and agree that a dress or skirt combo makes the best first impression.

Best of luck! Not much to add but say one of your sheath dresses + blazer or pencil skirt + blazer + tights and maybe more conservative booties, or dark dress pants if super cold. Suggest somewhat neutral or at least classic color combos at first, but you have a lot of great items in black, white, gray, navy, cobalt . And pick your malfunction-proof items re waistbands or not, shoes you trust, that sort of thing. Once you get through the first week it won't seem such an issue.

You have gotten great suggestions, Shannon, and, more importantly, you have such a knack for putting together winning looks that I know you will look fab!
