Diana, I love your board too - and that you called it "sugar eye"!

Fun question!

Stripes, for sure. Some florals. And the occasional fauna. Such as this J Crew shirt I recently saw:

I like little hearts in my jewelry.

Hawaiian shirts (the 3 maternity shirts I had were all Hawaiian). The dude abides, eh. I also like about a quarter sized stylized rounded petal flowers. Very gamine, to me. I guess the similarity is both ends of the spectrum of mischievousness.

I've always loved paisley prints, but lately I've been drawn to tropical prints (but not in a touristy way). Ferns, palms, etc.

Elephants! My favorite t-shirt has a front view of a stylized elephant, and I just love that thing! My watch face has a tiny elephant on it, and I have a couple bracelets with elephant charms.

Cherry blossoms - and even cutesy cherry prints - but haven't seen much that didn't seem too youthful.
Flamingoes lately - Mindy had some great PJs on her show.
Paisleys.
Beetles and bees. Dragonflies and butterflies can seem a bit too obvious or pretty.

Birds- Every piece of wall art in my house has a bird. My DD who knows this made sure to hide one in anything she painted for me. My collection started when my brother gave me a framed painting of sandpipers when I was in college.

Trees-Where there are birds, there are trees! Leaves also.

Flowers- both abstract and realistic,

impressionistic looking colorful prints,

anything light teal/jade/Aqua or in the range of blue green. (Like the Caribbean Sea).

Wow,it was fun to read all the varied responses. Suz, my zodiac year was the dog.

How fun! Watercolor prints and abstract florals are my favorites.

I have a soft spot for cherry blossoms. (High Five, Jules!) I haven't found the right piece for my wardrobe but I have two different mugs, a Starbucks gift card that I keep reloading (on my phone now), postage stamps, notecards, and two Pandora charms. I once bought a Fresh fragrance set mostly because of the beautiful cherry blossom box it came in.

I also have a mod-like love for the Union Jack and have two colors of a sweater with the Union Jack on the back.

I do have a great pair of sneakers with dragons embroidered on them, Joy. They're many years old, but I still love them.

Who could resist the title of this post? Dragons--what an intersting and elegant motif! It must be fun to hunt for examples. I have a thing for birds, so although I wear very few prints, I can never resist something "with a bird on it." For example, the Blue Heron t-shirt posted by Windchime, above, is already in my bag. Love it!

That dragon top is amazing! It's so unique.

I really gravitate toward hearts and crosses in my jewelry. But I don't like them as prints on fabric, which I find interesting. For fabric, I like polka dots. I don't have many patterned tops, not sure why.

Hmm. Skulls and stars, maybe. I don't wear many prints but I have a soft spot for star prints and I wear a star necklace every day. Skulls are appealing, with my all-black wardrobe, but I don't want to overdo it so I don't actually wear things with skulls very often. I had an adorable Ralph Lauren vest made of beautiful silk with little tiny skulls woven into it (the heavy silk used for ties). Cute but not too cute.

The dragons do look beautiful.

Right now I'm loving patchwork and embroidery. I just realized they make me think of my mother, who is a great sewer and stitcher. She's not in good health, but we're hoping they can fix her (heart disease).

I'm another year of the dog Joy! And I think Angie is too. Of course I love, love, LOVE dogs.

Animal prints, polka dots, stripes.
And may be not on my clothes but on my accessories, I love abstract, vintage retro kitsch, nature(iPhone covers) and weird funky prints like my magazine fold over clutch.

Can't find exact but something similar to this.

ETA: yep, definitely not on my clothes.
