I wear my regular running shoes (Brooks Ravennas) but wear an older pair (I only wear Ravennas and have three pairs right now -- one I got in March 2016, one in October 2015 and another in March 2015.) I wore the March 2016 pair in a half-marathon this past May in which it sporadically rained for the first 6 miles. I changed socks twice. I find the socks to be more important than the shoes, actually. I like both Feetures and Balega. Had my shoes been newer, I probably would have worn the next older pair in the rotation. When my shoes get super wet, I do stuff them with paper towels to dry out.

Lol, that was my dilema for the Journey concert so I opted for bare feet with my Clark Slip -ons tucked safely under a tarp.
