I loved your response because it came from experience, someone who has been there. That is by far the most telling and truthfull..not what someone may do someday if when they turn 40.. if they are grey by then...but someone who has lived this!!

I also agree with you on Emmylou Harris, who is a beautiful women...with gorgeous grey hair, but CUT that witchy looking hair!!...Not doing you any favors.

I also LOVE Pink I think she is FAB and looks beautiful with the shortest of short white hair.

Yes, Angie, I remember when Kate Moss did this. I thought it looked fierce on her. And Bella sums it up best for me. I think it can be edgy and cool when very young women do it in a manner that is clearly deliberate.

Taylor, here are some blurry photos of me at Christmas 2007 with my gray hair, and a year later with it blonde (password is YLF): http://s368.photobucket.com/al.....ook%20Fab/ . I'm never going back! LOL

My goodness Mary. You look like you shed about 20 years! That is like night and day.

I think it makes more sense to go really light, platinum blonde than gray, if you're young. It's still edgy but not as draining.

I agree with Maya MaryK you do look 20 years younger- not to mention you look very hip!
I'm not a fan of the grey/silver look on anyone that is doing it on purpose by dying their hair. It can look dignified and pretty on those that have hair that is naturally grey and are older... but this fashion trend looks way too fickle to me and hair takes way to long to grow out of this trend.

I once accidentally dies my hair pink/orange. Semi permanent my butt it lasted for more than 5 months. I don't dye my hair at all now.
