Wow. I have the opposite experience with the men in my life (hubby, family and friends). They all LOVE women with great short haircuts. Thinking its spunky and fab. Often very feminine. Do I live and hang around with non-stereotypical men?

My dear Laura, your style will change 90 to 180 degrees when you grow your hair long. You'll obviously still be as pretty as can be - but you'll loose your edge. I think I might need to have tea with DH.

Laura, I just wanted to say that you are a stunningly beautiful woman. Your short hairstyle is so flattering I honestly think your photo should feature in one of those hair "style"magazines. That's the truth (at least as I see it!).

Angie's right! I have, and love, long hair but it's not as edgy. Then you put all that work into growing it out and get too attached. You wear a pixie well and it's very stylish!

I feel so much more like myself with short hair. It took me far too long in life to figure that out and now there's just no going back!

Laura, that sounds like a great compromise. I compromise for DH by being sure that my hair has movement. His dislike is teased stiff big hair (we came of age in the 60's)
