Fantastic stories and pictures. I still have both of my wedding dresses. They are packed away in boxes along with the pictures. My first husband travelled for his work (he designed camera systems and was also a photographer) and bought me some cream raw silk with gold embroidery from Thailand. My sister-in-law taught fashion design and was a fantastic seamstress. She helped me design my dress and made it from silk. I loved that dress.

I found my second wedding dress on a sale rack for $50.00. I wanted a red dress. The wedding was at Christmas. I liked that dress too.

Both dresses required a strapless bra. Never again!

This is a fun thread. My wedding dress was purchased off the rack from a local boutique. After the wedding my sister wanted it so I had it cleaned and boxed up for her to use. The veil and tiara were from Michael's (or maybe AC Moore?) and I didn't keep them after the wedding.
