My preference is for a crossbody with a zip top close, and an outside zipper pocket for my keys and sunglasses. Alternately, a new car where I don't need to find my keys. Oh wait, I still need to get into the house.

What I absolutely detest is the outside zipper pocket that pretends to be a wallet. You know, has credit card slots, etc. I will not buy a bag that has one of those. One company does that a lot. I don't remember the brand because I've never bought one!

I also don't like extraneous hardware, the kind that has no function, that just adds weight.

*straps that are not long enough to wear with a winter coat
*bags that have a zipper; but the zipper doesn't extend long enough for you to get the bag fully opened
*bags without an inside pocket (preferably large enough for a cell phone)
*bags that weigh more than i do
