I've been regularly referring to YLF for years now. I love its balanced fashion advice (fashion for real people), kind and thoughtful contributors, and Angie's cool personality (I wish we were friends ). My favorite might be the weekly round-ups. I've rarely been disappointed with any of the purchased suggestions! Thanks, Angie and YLF, for all the years of support! I've decided to join up and not just be a lurker anymore!

Hello everyone,
I'm new here but enjoying it so far. I love fashion and have an E Commerce business selling clothing. Love what I do and glad to be part of this forum.
Hello! Thank you for this wonderful resource; I don't have anyone IRL to talk about things like why a particular shape of pant goes better with a particular shape of top, or a slight color difference matters in pulling an outfit together and I'm really happy to find this community of people who are also interested in those things and kind of a visual hobby. I'm not a super "fashionable" dresser but I enjoy thinking about those details even when it comes to the casual sorts of things that work in my day to day life. (And of course especially when I DO have an occasion to dress up), but I also just enjoy them in the abstract. I was big into visual arts growing up, and a lot of the time as an adult that has been way on the back burner, so I think this still gives me an outlet to ponder combinations and contrasts of color/shape/texture and why one thing appeals and another doesn't as much
Hey hello all i hope you have a nice day and will sucess whats actually important for you in life ! i m registering in this forum for help about personal inquieries and help , have a good day
Thank you Angie and community for this wonderful place of self-expression and fun! And happy new year to everyone, as the old song says - lets hope its a good one, without any fear!
I was active here long ago but have since retired, (okay and aged lol) so I am still interested in fashion but perhaps not so much a practitioner. Mostly my daily wear is leggings for workouts, or pants or jeans, but I do love a good accessory. And, does YLF consider fragrance to be part of an ensemble? I do!
Thanks everyone for building this little community and for suggestions, advice, etc., moving forward!
Hi everyone. I'm new here.have dipped in and out of the forum over time and finally decided to join as I am ready to build my wardrobe, don't really have anyone to bounce ideas off irl
I have been busy with work and small children for the last decade it seems. This week I was in isolation and finally got a chance to try on everything and really assess where I am at...which is that not a lot stayed, I'm a different weight and shape than I had been, and I'm in need of essentials and everything really. So I ordered myself a few things to get started and read lots of threads here and I'm motivated at last to tackle it
Hello everyone! I’ve only just discovered this forum and I thought it would be the perfect place to start posting again and interacting with people online after a looong break from Internet forums. I’ve always been drawn to fashion and even considered studying design at one point. I have a hobby of creating collages with different clothing items and accessories… even make up - as I used to see in many women’s magazines. I thought this might be a good place to share my creations and gather new inspiration. Everyone here seems lovely and very friendly from what I’ve read so that’s always an incentive as well.
Cheers, from Lisbon

Thank you so much for creating this forum! This is just what I needed to help me feel confident in what I wear without spending a fortune on personal color and style analyses!
Hello again! I’ve been MIA for the past 6 months or so. Just a bit of anxiety with a dash of agoraphobia that caused roughly 75% of my hair to fall out. So if you see me in headscarves in any of my new photos, don’t worry. It was only stress/hormone related alopecia and I’m already on the mend. I’m glad to be back. I had a great first impression of this place.
Hello, I'm happy to join this forum, I'm a mum of 4 preteens/teens and happy to find a place to talk fashion and styles and all we can do to keep things nicer and longer.
Hey, I'm Konnie, new here! I have always been into fashion and styling, but I have been exploring this field a lot more recently during my maternity leave Being a mum has really changed my style and made the way I dress more feminine and more creative and bold. I'm really glad to find a welcoming community that shares the same interests.
