Gosh, and here I was complaining about how grey and dark the days become in the UK during the winter - at least we can still navigate the world outside during our (relatively light) snowfall...

I forgot how depressing those weeks from December to February can get though, when you barely see the sun before it sets at 3pm... Vitamin D supplements and exercise feels so difficult but important to prevent SAD!

I'm attaching a shot of sunshine for those of you dealing with snow right now (I've never lived somewhere you needed to dig your car out of it!) since I'm in Hong Kong now. They just had the hottest February day on record at 26C, and it's ~17C at night. I also just got back from Pakistan where it was 10-15C, but you definitely feel the cold a lot more in countries that aren't designed for it (no central heating, carpet etc). Instead, summers are brutal when you'd melt without AC everywhere you go...
