I think the shoes work. I also like it with the sandals you were wearing when you tried it on! It's such a fab dress on you that people aren't going toot ice your shoes. You truly shine when you wear it. I think you made the right choice. Enjoy!
@Staysfit: Really? I guess I have more footwear options than I thought. I would never have thought the flat black ones would work. After seeing Aquamarine's Graduation WIW, I'm thinking metallic might work too. Thanks so much for chiming in. I know you are an expert when it comes to dresses!

Just had to add my compliments. You look fantastic in that dress! I like it with the heeled sandals but also with the flat black ones, for a more casual look. And like Janet, I'm impressed and a little envious how great you look in all of the dresses.
I haven't read all the other replies since you bought the dress - and YAY - that is so nice on you! But I will admit I'd like to see a shoe with more contrast going on - or in a stronger colour . I think the dress needs a strong shoe to balance the graphics. I'd go with a colour, or black or white.
