I have so many fab pieces in my wardrobe, but I still seldom or NEVER feel very well dressed or put together. A specific deal breaker seems to to be outerwear. E.g. I can sport a wonderful, trendy, fab and comfy jean + top combo, and then the weather changes in a heartbeat, like four-seasons-in-a-day, and I have to pull out my raincoat which clashes with the overall vibe of my outfit and prettty much ruins it. This always happens, and I never seem learn.

Well, cue my new approach to dressing: I am building a weeks worth of outfits around outerwear! I have thoroughly studied the weather forecast for next week. It will be pouring rain and 10 degrees Celcius. That means Wellingtons and a waterproof raincoat. For the odd day when it will be semi-dry, I will wear a similar coloured heavy denim jacket and white sneakers. I have also picked two full lenght jeans, one lightwash, one dark. Lots of Breton stripe knit tops and two heavier wool sweaters to mix and match throughout the week. Everything matches with everything, so I can confidently pick and choose what suits my mood and the days tasks.

Gosh, I feel so clever now! Hah! Will report back with my field report and WIWs. Thanks for reading!
