The whole store is quite nice now. It was looking a little junky, even at Christmas just six months ago. The third floor isn't as airy, consists of hosiery and children's, but was looking better too. It had been turning into a penthouse dungeon, lol. The sort of place where you stash scullery maids.
Of course, there was construction still going on back then. They ripped down the parking lot and put in a bigger one. They have now like a thousand parking spaces, each with a little light. You can tell from afar if a space is taken or free. Somewhat unnecessary, but fun.
