waistcoats or vests---where did you get cute ones?

I love the vests that Patience and San wear. San's is William Rast, and I'm not sure where Patience got hers. Tara got a cute one during the winter from the Gap.

Happylife, if you are looking to experiment and don't want to plop down too much money until you're sure you like this look, then get on over to Forever21!! Last month I was in there and they had a zillion vests in various styles, all for a song. One could go crazy!

Otherwise, ATL also has a pretty cream(?) linen one that might be a good spring/summer vest - unfortunately, I can't find it on their site now! But here's a grey one that is also cute:

I really like the Gap linen one, definetey stalking it for a good sale. I also picked up a trendier one with light blue vertical stripes and navy buttons at Nordstrom Rack for a steal yesterday.

I do love the shape of the black Ann Taylor, but I feel wierd in black during the spring/summer, so I wouldn't personally do it just because of that strange color aversion I have.

F21 does have fabulous deals, but I would try one on in store because I find that the fit needs to be pretty good to pull off the look.

I recently purchased this one from F21. It's actually surprisingly well made. I don't think you would guess I only paid $12.80 for it - at least I hope not.

I tried on a vest very similar to this one at the limited today, in kind of a pinstriped charcoal shade. It was on sale for $30. I think I'm going to go back tomorrow and get it. What do you think?

The front is very similar but the tie in the back is a little different. It fit quite well, even just by itself with a cami.
