Our weather is changing rapidly. Temps in the 60s and 70s in the next two weeks. I was going to wait on spring/summer purchases, but these Vince sneakers may be the replacement I’ve been seeking for my old snake print sneakers that are getting stretched out and worn. And miraculously, they don’t slip off my heels! I’m having a lot of trouble with that lately in shoes. I think I need to take these home for comfort and outfit evaluation! The touch of blue should make them work well with my summer wardrobe.

I like these too . Interesting pattern , especially with the touches of blue. Is that a bit of a wedge or a flatform? (can't quite tell from photo). Plus I'm JEALOUS of your weather! I'm still wearing my Uggs to tramp through the snow to take the recycling out. Blech.

These look fabulous with your rolled jeans. Next year I will be hunting for snake slip-one as I think I can squeeze another year out of my snake loafers. I will be watching to see if these or the more mustard version go on sale.

I have a very similar Vince pair from two years ago - slightly different shape, black & white and maybe a bit thinner sole. Very comfortable, total workhorses for me, and have held up well. I like them with lots of things, try them with your bootcuts for sure.

I was lucky enough to own a pair of Vince sneakers “ back in the day “ ( they are way out of my price range now ) and they lasted for years . Well worth the price - as they were that much more elevated and obviously of higher quality . I finally donated them as my feet gradually changed over the years but man I wish I still was able to wear them now .

Love those and totally relate to the heel slippage issue. I crave “almost sneaker” functionality without laces. Those look like you’d get a lot of wear out of them. Nice to have a hint of light in footwear!

Quick try-on at home with possible new joggers from Anthro. I love the side detail but not the stiff waist tie. The tie would be easy enough to switch out, I think.

Thanks, Lisa! I decided to try those pants, and a pair of Cloth & Stone joggers that are similar but without the side stripe, which makes them a bit more versatile, but also a bit more boring. I tried both in the charcoal color but I like that sage green in the find, too.

The C&S are a little softer and super-super comfortable -- they feel like pajamas -- but the Anthro ones are great too. I kind of prefer the little extra style kick of the side embellishment, and in reviewing my spring/summer tops, I'm realizing that most of them are solids (how did that happen??) and would go with the pants just fine.

I like how the Vince sneakers read as neutral from a distance but have more of a hint of blue the closer you get to them. My old beloved Via Spiga snake print sneakers (I think I've had them for 6 years?) were more warm-toned. I will probably take those to the ranch to live out their final days there. They've always been a little wide on my feet anyway.

Well, I jinxed that weather because it's chilly and rainy today! Feels like Seattle. But I'll try to share some of the more springlike vibes coming in the next week!

Thanks for the feedback, all! I wore the sneakers around the house a little bit and think they will pass the comfort test, although there's always a bit of a breaking in period when I move from socks and boots to these kinds of shoes (mostly without socks, but I'll try them with no-show Stance socks as well) in the spring. Body Glide helps!

I'm pretty sure I'll keep the joggers pictured, rather than the plain ones. I really like that stripe detail.

The shoes are great, very jealous, as much as I try I cannot wear this style of shoe. I think it's a combo of them not being as bendy as my foot requires and them slipping off the heel. Note to self to check out the awesome joggers though !
