When I first saw it this morning, I held my breath because I'm really trying to keep my shopping in general and especially my fast fashion shopping, to a minimum right now. First peruse of the lookbook and I thought I was in the clear. Once I looked through the actual items, there are a few pieces that really appeal to me though. Fit and construction would need to be very good, which they likely won't be from Target, so I can probably keep my dollars.

Any pieces appealing to you? The white top and mint lace shorts! Ack! love them.

Lots of intriguing pieces, such as the white shirt you have in Finds, as well as some of the florals and brights. But as you say, between making sure the fit is correct and fighting the initial shopper frenzy, I usually rarely luck out with these collaborations.

Interesting! More preppy and casual than I would have expected from her - I tend to associate her with very bodycon dresses and high heels, although I'm sure she doesn't wear those 24-7. I'm glad that plus sizes are included. This collection reminds me of an updated Lily Pulitzer, somehow. Very Southern summer ladies who lunch.

Don't you find those collections look great in photos, but are crap in reality? I sure did....

The white top caught my eye. I've largely stopped purchasing at Target because, at some point, I found that their quality had tanked. But they do come up with some good designer promos.

Lisa, in general, yes. There have been a few pieces from a few collections that were nicer. I had a cotton Thakoon dress that I purged a few years ago and still kick myself for. It was nice, most are crappy, poly, poor construction and cut.

Oh my gosh, Traci, every time one of these collections comes around I kick myself for the Thakoon dress I didn't buy. I wonder if it was the one you had? I have a piece from the Missoni collar that held up well and agree there are usually a few key pieces that are better quality than the rest. I like the VB collection, but I know I won't make the effort to check it out in the store. I've stumbled upon some exchanges in the past, so that's likely the only way I'll see these designs in person.

There are some pieces I'm interested in are the collared dresses in black and in blush, the floral dress, the navy sweater with the white lace appliques, and the gingham set. As well as some of the separates. And the bee scarf.

I am hoping the materials are nice, but, it's Target, so I'm expecting the polyester blends to be scratchy.

@Lisap I have found the recent Target collabs are hit or miss - but mostly miss. With the exception of the Altuzarra collection: I bought the crane sweater and reptile skirt, and the textiles were nice. I eventually resold the sweater on eBay though, because I found the crane embellishments were stiff and unyielding, and right up in my face (the sweater was thick and soft though). And I gained weight, so the skirt is too snug. I have it listed now, but will de-list and keep if I lose weight.

I have occasionally come across dresses from the Gaultier/Target collab (from years ago), and they are beautiful.

Maybe there should be an ongoing post about collabs that are worth collecting.

I saw the lookbook this morning, but didn't realize the items were on the site already. their was a sweatshirt I saw in the lookbook that I liked, off to look at the site....

Oh. OH. Those collared dresses have rabbits on the collar. Why, VIctoria, WHY??? I'm going to pass on dressy rabbit-clothing, since I'm not 10 years old anymore.

I guess if I want a rabbit-free Victoria Beckham dress, I'm going to have to ante up for a four-digit price tag.

I was looking at them last night. There were quite a number of things I liked - too many. I like coordinates, ruffles and gingham! Too much!

Just perused the website. I LOVe the kids things. Have you seen the clear raincoat with the flowers that move! I don't get the rabbit. I love that she did a paper doll book. These collections create such madness at Target it's rare to even see the items in the store. It will be madness for sure! Will you go down the rabbit hole with that rabbit?
