I know there are some Veronica Beard fans here--Nordstrom Rack has the Classic Jacket in Navy in a full size run for $180. I am hoping (& assuming) this piece has the buttons for the removable dickeys but it was not in the description. At that price it was with the order and potential return to find out.

Muffin - thank you. I don't wear navy or I'd be on this. The classic jacket is a dickey jacket. I'm hoping everyone will see this. It's an outstanding price!!

It is a gorgeous jacket, indeed. I would have been all over it, but I have bought three navy blazers this year (attached below), so I can not justify a fourth one. I will be saving for a VB scuba jacket.
Suz, on the other hand, mentioned that she needs a new navy blazer, so...

Thank you, Gryffin! The R&B is cotton, for summer, and J Crew is wool, for winter. The third one (Elie Tahari) is part of a more conservative suit for appropriate work occasions.
I am glad to hear you got the scuba leggings, now you have a most amazing suit! Looking forward to your report. I admire your blazer collection, and hope to hunt down HL cropped Smoking Tux sometime next year.

Tanya - that's an amazing jacket. You have a super eye for interesting but elegant and formal pieces!! Just incredible. I'm already at max budget for the month. And next month is more VB bottoms hopefully. This is the dark side of YLF. I just can't have everything. Sigh. I am sooooo happy you have it!!

Alright! I'm gonna go for it! I've tried VB jackets in the past a couple of times and found that the fit was just off (skinny, skinny arms and a too-big waist). But with a full range of sizes to choose from and a different style, I'll try again.

Sorry to have posted and ghosted! Griffin, thank you so much for the dickey information. If it fits I'll start hunting down very dickeys. I also appreciate your planned purchases- a very wise way to build a cohesive wardrobe. Tanya, you have a gorgeous collection! Navy has been a hole in my closet so I'm really hoping this piece works. Emily, I hope this works for both of us! I've tried the scuba and the schoolboy and liked them both. It was a while ago so I don't remember the specific on the fits but too tight arms are a no go for me!
