Urgent: NAS Help needed!

So how is this for destiny - I just flew in to a conference in Chicago. Nordstrom on Michigan Ave is a 2 min walk away. And they have almost everything I want in stock! So decisions needed!
I tried on: the gilet (of course), Smittie fabulous mackage leather jacket - is it too big or overwhelming? The SA thought I could use a smaller size but I don't think so (it's a medium and I usually take a small, but this is cut small.) nd the Trina turk coat. Thoughts? I am getting the pikolino booties that were a pick. I need to be back at the conference in an hour! That leather jacket us really calling to me...

Update : these La Canaduenne boots too - the last ones in my size! I need replacements for my tall black boots and booties.

I definitely do not think the leather jacket is too big or overwhelming. It looks great on you! In fact, I love all the items you are showing here on you - they look great!

Eek, that's not much time to decide!

I llike them all but especially the Turk coat.

I'm not sure about the leather jacket, the sleeves look a it long, but may be you could undo the zips and turn back if needed

I like the flow of the longer coat

The jacket looks like a great fit from what I can see, not overwhelming at all. I also think the TT coat and the vest are fabulous items and look like keepers. I know it's hard to tell from pictures, but I'm not sure about the fit of the boot, it doesn't look flat across your foot, like there is some gapping. The other pieces are amazing, the boots are 'nice.'

The leather jacket looks great on you in the pictures. It looks like the right size for outerwear. How are the shoulders on leather jacket? They are a hair big on me, and I think I would have preferred the small on myself but they were sold out when I went to return the medium. All the same, I like the extra room in the medium. It will be warmer because your sweaters will have more loft.

The thing I like about the mackage is that the arms aren't too wide, even in the medium.

The gilet and TT coat also look awesome! So do the boots.

In more detail -- jacket does not look too big except it is long in the sleeves. Have you tried with the layers you would wear under it? It is an outdoor jacket and needs to be worn with sweaters, etc.

Gilet looks amazing, though it is tough to tell proportions in a closer photo I think it is a winner. Did you like it worn open?

Coat also looks fantastic from what I can tell.

Boots, I can't tell the fit. They look like they are buckling some on the calf?

Find out if you can make returns in Canada if you buy in US. That will save you worry -- you can take it all home and consider at leisure.

LOVE the moto and the boots. Killer.

It's hard to see whether the coat is the right size, but I love that on you too.

The gilet is pulling a little at the waist. Try a size up, perhaps. This has to GLIDE off the body in an architectural way, and not pull at all.

- the Mackage Moto (LOVE IT!)
- La Canadienne tall boots (fit perfect)
- Pikolino booties

All stuff I love - but a LOT at once. Still considering the gilet - will start another thread on that! Thanks

@smittie thank you! Funny, the SA mentioned that she thought it was big in the shoulders too, but I thought it for perfect. And the hips are snug as is, so I doubt think I could go smaller. Like you, I will likely layer more underneath.

Checking in late but I think you made great choices! How fun that you got to stop at Nordies in Chicago too. I am still dreaming about that leather jacket, so glad you were able to get it.

Also checking in late, but thumbs up to the La Canadienne boots! Getting good fit on tall boots is hard. The moto and Trina Turk also look good. I am not 100% sure about the gilet, how does it look open?

@c1 - I will post more pics of the gilet tonight - it is the one piece I am unsure of (so expensive for a vest!) would love your opinion then...

@suz and @angie - thank you for the input - it really helped me make my decisions! I went back for the gilet and got a Vince dress...but I'm feeling a bit of sticker shock now. Will post all tonight fire opinions.
