Late here but these are super fun! I think that they are so distinctly different from SE booties in style and color that they will find their own place in your wardrobe.

Shevia, I'd not been attracted to this style either. It seemed too sporty and had a higher heel than I thought I could handle. I don't know why I tried this pair on. Maybe curiosity.

I think the wedge desert boot is going to be with us for a bit. They were quite popular this year, but I keep seeing more show up all the time. I love the metallic taupe for you, and it might be nice to have a comfortable heel to change up the look sometimes.

Sorry to be so late - I hope you got these! They are very classy, almost like a sneaker-boot. And a wonderful color for you.

I think the color is so perfect for your colors, but with that bit of edge from metallic finish, that if they are comfortable (for a heel--you don't have to run in them) they would be worth it to try, if the price is good.

I think they're subtle enough to not be too out there, but still fun and interesting.
