So I'm trying to put together things for my upcoming trip to Beijing, China and Mongolia.
It's going to be much warmer in Beijing than I originally thought, low 80's to upper 70's F (28-26 C). But then in Mongolia it's going to be much colder, mid 50's to upper 20's (-2 to 14C), that's in UlaanBaatar, outside the city I expect greater temperature swings.
I found this expensive but cool Nike combination skirt/leggings at Nordies. I figure I can wear cheap bike shorts under the skirt in warmer weather.
The front swoosh "sporran" is actually a towel of sorts (channeling "The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy"?), but can also be unclipped.
