I SO need those! Can just see myself chasing my 2-year old in those and looking hilarious. Lol. Definitely "sitting-shoes" for the extremely fashion-crazed. Normally I love platforms (I should say wedges) that have a flexible sole. A little height without the pain. These are nuts, though!
Oh my Nicole - aren't you afraid you'd twist your ankle?
In all seriousness, I've had some platform wedges that are very comfortable indeed, but not at the height of these.
I'm not going to scoff and say, "no way!" because i think our darling Mo twisted her ankle wearing heels not too long ago? But...I've also been know to have foot races in 5" heels.
Those are amazing. The actual heel height is only 2.75 inches, so it's just a matter of not letting the platform twist your ankle :). Not so practical with my nearly 3 tear old, but if they somehow landed at my house, they'd stay!
secretly I'm just jealous - I've got a screwed up knee and can no longer rock heels - I miss them so I'll just have to live through you! If you don't mind????
I just about spit my tea on my keyboard when I opened that annagybe! Those are beautiful in the artistic sense, but actual shoes??? Can you imagine trying to walk on cobblestone in those?
Yikes...pure sculpture! I did see Beyonce wearing shoes very similar to these in a photo shoot (sorry, cannot find the link!) and it is clearly all for show. Craaaazy times.
Gosh, I couldn't walk in those! I'm better (although not brilliant) with a high heel and a bit of a platform than a huge platform. I tried some on (not as high as those you linked to) and I felt like I had bricks strapped to my feet.
I can totally see our Anna rocking the first pair.
And I'm laughing to myself, thinking of the designers of the second shoe sitting around a table at a meeting going, "Yeah, but will people be able to walk on cobblestones in them?" LOL
