Boulder County does all they can to prevent light pollution. It is DARK. Too many late night dog walkers wear black. Thank God for dogs that are white. Many older people do not see that well driving at night or even .ow light days. Please dress to be seen. No one wants to hit you or your precious pet. Please do not assume that you are visible. If you must wear black, add lots of reflective tape from every angle. A flasher on the leash helps but is not enough on its own.

Thanks, Joy, for addressing the pedestrians! For a while there, it was sounding like people were really down on them, wanted to make the world safe for drivers.

On colorful puffers, I wonder where they all are. When I bought my red one, there were racks and racks of bright colors, the whole rainbow. Sure can't see them in the wild!

I like black puffers and have two! My first one was acquired and then I found my magic puffer, leopard print one side and reversible black on the other. I am trying to make sure that I mainly wear the second leopard side up the most because it is SOOOO easy to default to black.

I don’t have a black jacket. But I have several grey ones!

My husband takes the dogs for a walk at night. I bought reflective leashes and reflective vest.
