Two skirts

This is picture heavy. I recently bought two skirts. I've styled them and let me know what you think . The midi I know I will need another top but I'm just trying to get an idea.

I love the first skirt and think the styling in photos 1 and 2 is great. I don't love it with the shirt worn out, as in photo 3, although perhaps if you added a belt to the shirt untucked, I would prefer that. I'm not as excited about the second skirt. Perhaps try the top from photo 2 with the second skirt (maybe tucked in)?

Skirt #1 is my fave on you! It looks very sophisticated with the black shirt and red belt - perfect! I don't like the untucked top with it though - unless you want to try the red belt over the black top. . . ?

Skirt #2 just looks too long to me for your petite frame. . .but I also suffer from midi & maxi Post Traumatic Stress, so I don't think I'm reliable :-\

(You're like me taking barefoot pics & not bothering to style the shoes, but I'm so curious what you'd pair with the skirts. Tall shoes might help with the longer skirt?)

ETA: If you try Steph's idea of black shirt tucked into red skirt AND put that red belt over the waistband, it might look fun.

I love skirt #1. I like it best with the top tucked in; it looks good with or without the belt. PLEASE tell me where you got skirt #2! I have been looking for one just like it! I like it with a tucked shirt... I would love to see it with some heels or wedge... Maybe espadrilles?

I love the 1st skirt Deb. It looks fantastic on you - like it was made for you!! This is an all time favorite of mine on you.

I'm not sure about the 2nd skirt, I'm not yet used to the midi length so I'll let others comment on it.

I love both skirts with tucked-in tops; I'm not really much of a tucked-out girl for these skirts! The pink is so cheerful and looks great on you

I love both skirts and think that they are great purchases. My favorite styling for the first skirt is picture #2. The red belt adds a little zing to the outfit, and by tucking in the top you showcase your figure beautifully. For the second skirt, I prefer the styling in picture #4. To me, this has a hint of retro flair.

I love the pencil skirt tucked and with a belt - the defined waist gives it a feminine, curvy vibe. I'm not so fond of it untucked without a belt, it loses some of it's impact, I feel?

The midi skirt I am not crazy about....I think a fuller skirt would work better? This is slightly full, but looks casual rather than intentional. Am I making any sense :)?

I like skirt #1 with or without the belt. It looks so classy, professional and polished. I'm not used to the calf length dresses, so I'll pass on an opinion on the second skirt.

Of the two skirts, the first one is my favorite. You look sensational in it, very sleek and polished! Definitely keep. I like it tucked in the best and it looks great with and without the belt. I would like to see the second skirt with heels.

I love that first skirt. I saw it at AT yesterday, but alas not in my size. The second skirt isn't my personal style, so I'm having a hard time saying wow, yay, love! But I bet if you styled it more (shoes, accessories) it would look fab.
I definitely love the tucked in look on you!

I love that first skirt tucked and with the red belt. It is a good length and you so slim. I think #1 and #2 are my favorites post I have seen from you. I wish I had seen this post before I sent my AT skirt back. I never thought of putting a red belt with the skirt. The second skirt is OK but not as fab as the AT skirt.

Angie who would have though I would be early to the midi party. I do like the skirt and I'm going to continue to work with it. Tucking I never thought I'd do it but I actually like the option. Thanks for pushing me out of my comfort zone.

I think the first skirt looks great on you, especially tucked in with the red belt. You could add a red scarf or necklace!

I think the second skirt overwhelms you a little bit, but maybe because it's just not my fav length.

Debbie, those are both beautiful skirts. I like how you styled them in #2 and #5 the best and could see you adding a belt to #5. Your furbaby is adorable.

I missed this thread until Bella mentioned it in her thread today.

I love both skirts. Skirt one looks beautiful on you with the belts. Skirt two looks so happy and summery and cool for the hot weather. I like the idea of espadrilles with it.

Your style journey is amazing. You look so confident in your choices which is very stylish to me.
