Yay!!! Glad you're feeling better! x

It's great that you are back.

Yahoo! Guess I can cancel the Help Wanted: Style Mentor ad I placed! I am very happy about this! Thank you Shannon!

Hurray, Shannon! I am so sorry about all the stress in your life. I've heard about your situation with MIL, and I cannot imagine the upheaval of leaving a position you had held for 16 years. But we are so happy you are back! You are always welcome here with open arms.

Yay, Shannon! Please don't get me wrong, but reading this thread made me laugh. In a good way.
I'm glad you didn't hesitate to say that you've changed your mind.

YAY! Glad you reconsidered. No crow eating necessary. Just glad you're still with us.

Shannon! I'd been thinking about your previous post, and wondering if it would be creepy to send you a PM. You're one of my favorite YLFers to follow, even though (or because?) our styles and personalities are very different.

So glad you'll still be around ... I think. There's more to the concerns you expressed about participation in on-line forums; I hate to see reactions to legitimate issues dismissed as mere emotional sensitivity. Perhaps the forum's security will evolve with time.

I question my own involvement here, as limited as it is. Especially as writing-style recognition software improves and becomes more available, it's important to be aware of how much we share, where. I just erased a reply before posting it to the workplace-gossip thread, because it contained details of misinformation I'd "shared" with a gossipy HR person the first week I worked here, and anyone familiar with the situation would recognize me. I'm low-profile, "have nothing to hide" (nothing negative anyway), but still.

I am so glad you are back! We are here to help whenever we can.

Glad you're back, Shannon! I didn't get a chance to say good-bye on your other thread...glad to see it's not necessary. :^)

Thanks goodness! I didn't know what I was going to do without my TS inspiration! Change is always stressful even if it's good change.

I'm glad you changed your mind about leaving.

I'm glad you changed your mind about leaving.

I guess with growing older you get so you have no problem saying "I made a mistake".

LaCeleste - yes, please cancel the ad!

Astrid - I'm laughing too only mine is sort of like "what the he** was I thinking?"...

Glad you're back!!! Admitting to mistakes IMHO is a generational thing. My mom, age 89, will never admit to a mistake. As Mary Poppins would sing, she's Practically Perfect.

I'm so glad you decided to stay. I didn't see this whole thing until after, and I am so glad I didn't. It would have made me so sad. You are one of my favorite forum people, because of your great style and your down-to-earth personality. Whew!

::Hugs:: so glad you are back!

I'm so glad, change is difficult even when we wanted it (this from someone who always speaks and over reacts, although for the record I have always liked your frankness)

Hope you get settled in to your new role(s) soon

Oh, good. I was already missing you a lot.

Oh, all right.

Squeeeeeeeeeee! Shannon is back!

Yay!!

I actually keep meaning to tell you I've always loved your avatar! I've got a thing for pigs.

OMG yes!!!! I'm so happy! Talk about emotional, it was kind of getting me down to think about you leaving. I'm glad you feel more sorted!

Shannon no need to "eat crow" (a Canadian expression? Lol). We love you and you belong here. Now let's see this fabulous suit xxx

Big hugs, Shannon. You are YLF family and we love to have you here. I'm sorry that life is so stressful right now. We are here for you if and when you need to vent.

Shannon, I am so glad to see you are back!

Phew, what a relief. I am really, really glad you changed your mind Shannon.
You are in a new job and you might not have the energy right now for full participation but we all know that's OK. Penny

I am whooping about like the proverbial 'Red Indian' of old Wild West stereotype. Or only a little more PC, Christopher Robin's marching band with Pooh and Piglet and Eeyore and Tigger and Roo... can't Greg add a few sound effects buttons in here?

PS: so relieved am expressing myaelf rather badly

Having a little chuckle at M's comment above and contemplating the global repercussions of your decisions Shannon.
