Tried it earlier this afternoon - LOVE it! Just not sure how to get the "wall" view without doubling back here to your thread with the link? Will there be a handy tab somewhere on one of the main pages for this?

I like the "wall" way more than the standard forum format - not that I don't like the regular forum, it's just that when I tried out your "wall" - it was so much better!!! All kinds of stuff I didn't notice before in the regular forum.

I think it is simply brilliant - both in idea and implementation! It was pretty hard to fin earlier posts because you had to scroll through many pages and it was easy to miss. Now it is so easy and visual! This is especially helpful when you are coming to YLF from several days of absence and want to catch up - easy to see at one glance what happened when you were away.

velvetychocolate, yes, when it is ready we will put a prominent link to the wall from the other main pages. I think it will be near the top of the sidebar on the right.

crazyone, you're right that in some cases the wall can take longer to load because it is loading all the pictures. I also agree the list view is more usable for day-to-day use of the forum.

Very neat idea. A bit visually overwhelming, but fantastic nevertheless.

Having said that, I will remain with the list view as my personal main entry point to the forum, as I've noticed that although all threads appear on the wall, the ones which don't have photos as 'support' can easily get overseen purely for not having that extra content to make them noticeable. I hope it makes some sense.

This will be very useful. I sometimes had a problems deciding on how old is actually a thread shown on the first page on the Forum (mandatory layout or even listed).

Really neat feature. I like getting to see lots of content at once. Like others have said, I often miss posts because the turnover in the forum is so fast. I am curious if you could add something so one can tell when they've read a post?

And if you can add a little code or something to tell what category the item is (ie if I want to take a look at all blog posts, maybe I hover over one and the non blog posts gray out or there is one word in the boxes to describe what category it is and I can click on the word to gray out boxes?) Essentially a way to make finding the categories one wants faster. Right now I have to hunt around a little to figure out what I'm looking at and of course the photos grab my attention first, especially the largest photos.

I absolutely LOVE the wall. In fact, it might become my favorite thing. Thank you for thinking of it.

I love this option as a visual person and also that the wall is most current by the original posting as a different option than the forum by what's "buzzing", Think having both options are great depending on the mood or time available for the day! Great job, Greg!!!!!
