Trouble installing Collect bookmarklet?

I'm planning to post later tonight about what I bought today ... but I cannot seem to successfully drag the Collect tool to my Chrome bookmarks bar. Whenever I try to grab it I see the javascript code, and the tool just won't land in my bar. Does anyone know how I can fix this (or what I might be doing wrong)?

Are you on your laptop? You need to drag it to the right area - see pic. I’m a Mac Book Pro.

Angie, I’m trying to drag it there, but as you can see from these photos, the JavaScript is what shows when I drag, and it won’t land in the toolbar.

This seems to be a known bug in Chrome (at least, I think this is describing the same issue) and it seems to be fixed in versions post January 28. So a browser version update might help.

As I mentioned on the other thread, Viv, Greg will have a look asap (I can't help I'm afraid), but in the meantime perhaps you could try Runs With Scissors' suggestion of updating your browser to the latest version and see if that helps?

Like JuniperGreen, my chrome is up to date and still having the same problem. (It’s gratifying to hear that I’m not the only one, which suggests it is not user error.)

I had some luck but still am not quite there.

In Advanced Settings for Privacy and Security under Content Settings > Pop-Ups and Redirects I added YouLookFab to the Allowed list.

I was still unable to drag the bookmarklet to my bookmarks bar but I right-clicked the bookmark bar, copied the link for the bookmarklet, and manually added the bookmark... but it's only working sporadically. H&M and Nordstrom work, but Anthropologie does not, for example.

Or as a former IT colleague would say, a PEBCAK issue: problem exists between chair and keyboard!

I use Chrome too, and have never been able to get the Finds button to install in my bookmarks bar. Will be watching this and hoping.....
