Greetings from tropical Mauritius I am SO glad you had a wonderful time in SA and the pics are gorgeous, esp glad that you like the Woolies shopping bag. Next time you’ll have to add a stop in CT. Xx

Gorgeous pictures, monkeys, placemats and all. Thanks for sharing!

thank you for sharing these lovely photos Angie, the monkeys look like the are having so much fun. It sounds like you had a wonderful trip. Welcome back!

You both look so happy(and stylish!), love the other picties and esp.the place mats, too! I never imagined a fashion blog will travel me over the world- but it's doing that in a very special and personal way, which I jus4 LOVE, LOVE&LOVE! Thank you!:-)

The square donuts make me smile, the natural beauty truly is breath-taking, your colourful travel capsule is just perfect (as always;-), and all the sweets are making my mouth water!-) Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos, Angie!

i was impressed by how the yellow tones in your travel capsule was echoed in the square donuts!
thanks for sharing pictures of your trip..how wonderful that you and Greg got to spend time with family.

Thanks for sharing your pictures Angie, and glad (though not surprised!) your clothing capsule worked out so well.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures Angie. What fantastic nature! Now you make me want to go there. It must have been a fabulous vacation. And the Sam place-mats! What a special thought from Greg's Mum. I bet Sam is very proud of his portrait.

Thank you for the awfully kind words, ladies. LOVELY.

JAileen, I have a very sweet tooth.

Laura, Sam is much cuter than the monkey

LadyPainter, the US makes the BEST peanut butter.

Kari, fun bumping into you too.

Joyce, that's homemade spinach soup. I love spinach.

Carla, I hope you have the same Woolies shopping bag. Mine is in my car in Seattle. Have fun in Mauritius.

Wow, what a wonderful holiday. South Africa has so much variety, In scenery, climate and animals. I have never seen square donuts before, I hope they taste as good as the round ones. It is great that now you are home again with Sam.

Looks like you had a wonderful holiday, Angie. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Re: the sweets: When my daughter, who grew up in South Africa, went to Botswana for a semester of university, every day she rediscovered another snack food from her childhood (Chomp bars! Chutney chips!).

As for me, you are reminding me that I haven't made crunchies in forever!

The tropical climate looks wonderfully soothing. The monkeys are so neat! Glad you were able to get away.

L'Abeille, the Chomp ad used to crack me up. Baby hippos.

Thanks Smittie and Bijou, you're lovely.
