I enjoyed Angie' s pants post- thanks!
Usually would not try the Loft Marisa fit and I should probably do more research on chinos. But I found myself short on warm weather pants but facing some casual trips and family visits. So I went to Loft and ended up getting both of the colors Angie mentioned, the raspberry and light gray, because they worked right in with existing tops ,bags and footwear. I have some suede loafers in just a shade darker gray, for example.
They ARE. straight and too big in waist but I'm wearing Hipsi belt until I can wash & wear and see if want to tailor.
I also brought home the dark gray because that's more my standard neutral, but may return. For that I might shop for a more refined fit or fabric.
So there is a chance that I have combined sales goggles, trip goggles, and nothing - fits goggles and these will be placeholders. For now I have justified the Lemming response on the specific summery colors that are just up my alley, whereas the usual sherbet colors are not, and I was able to create- wear- now outfits.
Interestingly , curvy fits are sometimes too full and accentuate pear shape or are baggy through the thigh, while just the right smount of straight fit balances things, if that makes sense.
