I finally found time to try on the Topshop dresses that so many of us bought. Based on Angie’s comments, I got the US 6 (fits 2-4) in the stripe and the US 8 (fits 6-8) in the dots. I generally wear a 4-6 in dresses.
1) Stripes, with red heels and red tagua nut bracelet.
2) Dots, with red shooties
3) Dots, with a clip pulling in a small bit of extra fabric through the bust. It’s a minor difference, but if I keep this, I’ll likely have it altered. I don’t think I’d size down because the shoulders and sleeves are as fitted as I want.
4) Dots, with a platinum velvet jacket. I think I’ll look for a more fitted jacket in rose or citron/chartreuse/lime punch.
Thoughts? Comments on sizing? I’m leaning toward keeping both because I could use more dresses for spring summer, and these are perfect for my life- breezy enough to wear on my walk/train commute, washable, and inexpensive, so that I won’t be “precious” with them.
