Tomorrow evening I have been invited out to dinner with three ladies with whom I have played tennis on a regular basis for years. I'm so excited! On the other hand, I'm wondering what to wear? We're meeting up at a restaurant in uptown Toronto. I'm not sure what their "real life off the court" fashion personas might be as I've never seen them off the court! I'm sure that I can wear anything casual, but I'm also thinking it might be an opportunity to break out my red dress (see below), since it isn't workwear, WFH wear, or tennis gear. We're still experiencing summer hot and humid weather and this dress is linen and comfortable, but is the bright red too dramatic for dinner with the ladies? I would wear it with these sandals and straw purse to tone it down.
