Sterling -- I actually find bangs not too difficult to maintain. I trim them myself, but I think a lot of salons offer complimentary bang trims between cuts? My hair is super slippery, and prior to this cut I was going a bit crazy trying to keep the front parts out of my face. Clips, headbands, etc. I like hair accessories, but I don't like being reliant on them. This cut is actually more wash-and-go for me than it was with grown-out bangs, less styling involved.

Long term, I'm aiming for a bit more length but will probably keep the bangs. It's been a long time since I had hair past chin-length, so it'll be a fun change.
