Kim, I'm thrilled that you'll be joining us.
For myself, I really do think I need to commit to a strict 3 months, so April 1 will be my deadline too. Like Kim, I will probably make an exception for gear since one of my goals is to get into the gym more often, and while I'm set on tops to work out in, I know I need another sports bra and most likely will need another pair of workout pants too. I was able to find the Halogen seamed skirt in a petite size that actually fits well, and can let the length down a little, so I won't be breaking my SYC goal even if the skirt comes back in stock. My Nordstrom note is good for a year, so I can wait until April or later to spend it.
I *really* should budget for new running shoes. I won't even tell you how old my current pair is. But since I'll mostly be running indoors on a treadmill until spring, that can wait. There is a great place in Seattle where you can literally get an insert molded to your foot and they will help you select the best running shoe for you, so it's about the closest you can get to having medical custom-made orthodic inserts. My boyfriend, who has very high arches, did this a year ago and I'd really like to as well.
