I was biting my tongue but must add that what is perfect for seeing your feet for alignment in warrior pose is not going to be perfect with any kind of shoe. Unless you want to step on your pant's hem throughout yoga class.

Just coming back to this thread - one of the things I never worried about before YLF and never even THOUGHT I would worry about is having too many clothes to choose from. I've downsized my wardrobe a few times since I started reading & posting on YLF and found an incredible freedom in culling the items that just didn't work, and keeping a smaller & more manageable wardrobe. It's also helped me tremendously to figure out how to put together a "capsule wardrobe" for traveling, and I no longer panic when I don't have 100% of my clothes at my disposal.

I'm with you, Mo- my PPL yoga pants that fit well with running shoes are not fit for yoga! I love them in seated poses, but they are more aggravating in standing poses (especially when switching quickly). I have to roll the waist a bit for them to work with bare feet.

That's kind of what I meant about PPL and yoga pants - what's a good length for one situation isn't useful for another. My yoga pants are perfect for yoga, just right. But I wore them in public with my running shoes on my way to an aerobics class, and when I saw myself reflected in a window all I could think of was how exposed my ankles were!

It's not like I was wearing a stylish outfit to begin with: a baggy tee with a hoodie and a sports bag were the rest of the ensemble. But I was just so proud of myself for identifying a lack of PPL, normally it's something I struggle to recognise
