Thank you Brooklyn….am hunting around for the ‘raw material’

Versatile is right Robin and unfrumped, who would have guessed that?

Thank you for your kind words Mirjana! You wear white with the best Of them, but all I’ve got is a white blazer, and the length is too long to wear with this skirt.

I like the contrast with the yellow as well ummLila, and good point about showcasing the long line of the skirt by tucking.

Thanks cardiffgirl!

haha Fash…thank goodness skirts can’t talk!

Sal, Carla remarked similarly as well. The heavier tops seem discordant with the lightness of the skirt.

Hah SF! So much to discuss! Brooklyn had suggested a cropped jacket, and the proportions of the denim jacket seem to work don’t they?

Love Paul Simon and the denim jacket is the right shape and proportion.

Great styling! I love 3, 12, 13, 17. I prefer simple, clean looks.
You'll have a lot of fun with this skirt, and obviously everyone has had a great time with this thread.
I'll just slip out the back.

Did you try that white blazer with the skirt? I remembered Angie's post Outfit formula: Flared skirt and Long blazer, who knows maybe it would be interesting.

Laurie, hopefully I’m not sounding crude by repeating my thanks for kind comments
Mirjana, I’ll give it a go and post a photo when I get a chance. Your stylish eye is sooo good that I must try it out!

Love the column of cobalt especially!

Looking forward to see .

These are all great on you - especially the tucked &/ or cropped tops (think I might need to 'borrow' #13) I particularly like the chartreuse (of course) & the cinnamon is an unexpected combo but it still works.

Bonus points for adding structure around your neckline by having your hair up like that with the glasses - but of course I'm biased, being partial to that look myself haha

Thank you ST and Zaeobi….chartreuse FTW!

The lovely and ever so stylish Mirjana recommended that I try on my white blazer with the electric blue skirt. It’s a nice pairing, and I think it could work if the blazer was more of a boyfriend and not so fitted.
over to you lovely fabbers, what are your thoughts?
and pic 5 is gratuitous granddaughter photo, she’s absconded my handbag and is using the shoulder strap to walk puppy.

Love, love with the white blazer, both are beautiful, but with a white top is fantastic, so crisp and summary and also very elegant.
Your granddaughter is so sweet .

Thank you so much for your kind comments Mirjana. It really is wonderful to have outfit feedback, I think the outfit in pic 4 will be perfect for silent auction I’m attending today.

Yes, absolutely. Have a nice time.

Awesome white blazer! So good over the white top. I see your knack for fashion is getting passed on to another generation. Creative dog walking

Late to the thread but these are all so good! Who knew that a cobalt blue pleated skirt could be so versatile! You've given me some great ideas! I do think the weight of the top makes a difference with the floaty nature of the skirt. The color and the fabrication of the skirt seem more spring/summer but I see how footwear can make it work for winter or fall. I think the lighter weight tops make the most sense and of course, the denim and white blazers. All so gorgeous. I can't pick a fave but I love the column of color in the first few pics and the Breton with the stompy boots in 12 is super fun too. I love the lemon yellow combo and the printed button down--all sooooo good! I never realized I need a cobalt skirt! Haha.
