Thank you ladies. I know I wrote a painfully long post so thanks to all those who read it. I have come such a far way along with your help that sneaking out to target on my lunch break to take wiw pics is no longer a necessity. i have developed confidence along the way. More wiw's I promise in the upcoming months.

I love this post and although I don't have time for a detailed reply I am favoriting it for later to savor in peace.

You are lovely inside and out, lady!

Lovely inside and out indeed. A true inspiration! Sona, you are just. so. fab.

This is a wonderful synopsis of your journey. I am so inspired. Thank you for sharing with us. I love all the pictures ... you look confident and beautiful.

Sona, you look so happy and stylish in all your photos.

So many of your points resonated with me.

I love that you started trying to emulate Angie/forum members but eventually found your own personal style. You do have a definite Sona style - I know one of your outfits when I see one.

You've found the products/clothes that work best for you and you accept yourself how you are.

You're an inspiration to all of us.

Thank you Sona. Your personal style transformation is really amazing and you have written an informative and amusing description of the journey. I remember when you first came to YLF and had some trials getting to where you wanted to be. It took time, study, and work to figure it all out. Congratulations, you have made it. You are stunning in your clothing that is tailored to fit you perfectly, the makeup that you have learned works specially for you, hair that suits you and your hair type to a T, everything about you looks so put together and so professional! You are lovely! Thank you for sharing your journey.

Sona, how I've missed you!!

I have been reading this in snippets since I can't seem to sit down in one place very long these days, but I finally finished, and it was a joy to read!

A#1, I'm so glad to hear that you are now working with your bod instead of fighting it - you are gorgeous! And it is such a relief to hear someone else say that they followed Angie's outfits like a groupie, hehe. It took me so long to find my own style, and I did that with many here.

I am learning more and more that everyone has fit issues that drive them nuts - but it is rare to find someone so aware of - and great at dealing with - them.

What an amazing style journey. Thank you for taking the time to write it down. I keep thinking I need to cut my long frizzy hair to look good enough. I am happy to hear that you embrace your long hair. I love that you stayed true to yourself and it shows in your style that is unique and wonderful. I love all your looks and just adore you in those harem pants.

Thank you so much for sharing your journey and all the insights along the way. I enjoyed reading it so much and found myself nodding in agreement with a lot of what you wrote!

Sona, thank you for sharing your journey this far:). You are a lovely woman and I appreciate you sharing some of the resources you have found so helpful. I am glad you are back, I have missed you.

Such a great post! I'll be bookmarking it for your recommendations.

Thanks for the great post Sona. 6 months in, now, and so many of your comments already ring true...and, your style pics are awesome. You wear draped tops so beautifully!

Thanks for sharing your insights, and you photo gallery is a feast for the eyes! Great outfits there, and I always like your use of color and accessories.

Great post, great insights. The copy-cat strategy attempt hit straight home. :-")

Sona, thank you for sharing your beautiful story. It is wonderful to read about your style journey and seeing how you have progressed. I find this very inspiring as I'm going through a transition journey of my own, and my style happens to be a big part of it! I will definitely take your pearls of wisdom to heart, and see what I can apply in my own style journey!

A few things that resonated with me:
1) Short Hair: it's amazing how you find that your body/personality seems to be more inclined to longer hair despite your fascination with short hair! I recently started growing my pixie as well after sporting it for 5 years. My partner loves my short hair (and short hair on women in general) but I did not quite feel like myself, even though I looked good in it. When you mentioned your inclinations to long hair, I felt as if I wasn't alone in actually feeling this way and that I wasn't just overthinking how I feel!

2) it's inspiring to see that you're going with what your body naturally is rather than working against it. When I was in image consulting class, my instructor used to say, "dress what you are". We can emulate styles or follow style guidelines for our type to the tee, but in the end, it's all about what makes us comfortable, confident and happy!

Again, thank you for sharing! I looked through your photos and you look absolutely amazing!!!!

Sona, rereading and enjoying it just as much on the second time around. You are a true inspiration...and. Oh, do you have the best collection of clutches!
