Well, I have a HUGE wardrobe. Slightly embarrassing really, esp given what is considered "large" here. I won't get into it, but lets just say that according to StyleBook, I've worn 119 items this summer. Eek But it's okay... I have room. Just.
The last couple of years I've really enjoyed totally revamping my wardrobe, and paying attention to it, for probably the first time in my life. I've always liked nice clothes, but it was to be dressed, rather than a hobby. It does bother me when my favourites hardly get worn (silly, that) and when I realize things I bought for a season still have tags on (silly, that) but I also don't see the point of culling just to achieve some random number. I definitely have things in the "wouldn't buy now but might/do enjoy wearing once and a while" category. I have enough that I can get rid of things I truly don't feel good in anymore, and I'm getting better at that. My spending has also slowed down considerably, which is also a much needed and good thing.
I'm actually really looking forward to concentrating on what I HAVE this coming fall/winter, and putting my energy into SYC and some analyzing/purging/honing, rather than the constant on-line cruising.
