A couple of packages arrived that actually work! I feel like every season, I experiment some, try a bunch of new things (maybe discover a new label or silhouette, if I'm lucky) and then revert to my tried-and-true brands.
This Eileen Fisher blouse is fab. Totally comfortable, great silk quality. I think it's a keeper.
The boots I have on in #1 are Born. They're basically a brown version of the black ankle boots (see #2) I wore to bits over the past two winters. Those need to go in for reheeling, because I didn't heed Angie's advice to get it done in the heat of summer. They're also a shorter version of the Born tall boots I've been wearing since 2006. Should be workhorses, but part of me wonders if I should try something different, just for variety.
Finally, I LOVE the Pendleton blanket scarf. Lightweight, super-soft wool, and the pattern is black, tan, and gray, so it goes with pretty much everything. Tags are already off and I'm going to wear the heck out of it this winter.
