Rachy - I have found the longer pencil dresses feeling fresher to me too. With a cropped jacket they really elongate the legs.

Firecracker - the plaid dress is a favourite for me too. I never buy dry clean only dresses, but for this one, I made a very rare exception because I liked that much.

Angie - so pleased the Power Suit is a favourite. The fabric and construction are just beautiful.

Janet - thanks for saying that I look professional. In my line of work I wear much more colour than most (black, grey and navy are the unofficial uniform of accountants) - so I don't want to push things too far.

Jenni - You have a good eye! The cropped KM jacket is probably going to be the most worn item - as I have worn it 3 times since getting it 2 weeks ago. The jacket was on sale from winter stock and I thought given it was about 50% off, it was worth a try (ordering online). It arrived all rumpled and I was a bit unimpressed, but since giving it an iron, and wearing it I absolutely love it.

Sal - I know you have had a really hard time lately and winter weather does not help. Spring is just around the corner, our days are getting longer and the temps are already warmer than they were.

Kathie - the formality of my work place actually helps in honing my work style. I actually like the constraints that it places on what I can wear.

Suntiger - thank you, I need to get something sparkly so you can carry it off!

Shevia - YLF has helped me a lot to embrace a signature style. I find others WIWs really useful. Real women and what they actually wear as opposed to the fantasy of a magazine.

Runcarla - I seem to have a bit of a peplum and cropped jacket thing happening at the moment. At least the Power Suit has a longer line to mix things up. I really like the spit hem on the pants too - a nice touch and helps show off nice shoes.

Fashintern - I always have a bit of a hard time knowing what to call these posts. Glad that you did not think my style needed a complete makeover.

Mainlady - I have always aspired to be like the ladies in Absolutely Fabulous! For me, Patsy has been a complete style icon.

Brooklyn - I like Spring and Summer clothing because the lighter colours really work for me. I had a white jacket last summer and it got stained from a black dress - only on the inside, so I can still wear it - but at least I have two nice pristine white jackets.

Suz - ah the dresses, I just love wearing dresses. Getting myself to buy some trousers has been quite the challenge when there are such lovely dresses to tempt me!

TG - I wear ankle boots with everything as for me they are the most comfortable footwear other than trainers. I think ankle boots is pretty much a key part to my signature style and so I am thrilled that you think they keep the classic dresses looking fresh.

Gryffin - thank you so much - being compared to Kim Novak is just wow!

Windchime - Thank you and I am glad that you like the return to a more streamlined dressing approach for me. The boho is fun in small doses. I like dressy boho if that is such a thing.

Tammyb - a good white suit just feels so fresh at the end of winter. Of course, I don't have Angie's amazing keeping clean ability, so I have to be quite careful about what I eat when wearing this suit.

*carries off hypothetical sparkly thing*

Girl, you look like a power player in all of these <3
Also, you look so pretty!

I love your colours! It seems so Australian to me. I think if we worked in the same office I would be really influenced to stretch my colour palate towards yours! I would think you must be thought of as very stylish in your office - I sincerely hope so!

That power suit is amazing! Such a beautiful cut and the colour of the red is gorgeous on you.

All your looks are glamorously-exciting-and YLF in them all-of course!:-) The cream suit is indeed a power suit- curious what shoes will you wear with for the conference in Singapore!:-)

Suntiger - lots of sparkly things in my wardrobe for you to carry off!

Cindysmith - As a female working in a male dominated field I don't want to dress like the men, but I also want to look like I can hold my own and not get pushed around. Your comment is greatly appreciated.

Jane - I think we would have a blast working together. Yes my colourful wardrobe does get noticed at work. As one of the senior females in my office, I think it is nice to pave the way for younger girls to express their personality in how they dress.

Lyn67 - the cream suit is lovely and I think I can wear any footwear with it. My cream boots are an easy match and a nod to mod style, a look I love. I will probably wear the black and red suit in Singapore with black heels. However, I will take a couple of outfits and decide on the day. I may feel more confident in the plaid dress, because dresses are really my thing.

Bijou, I can relate on dressing for work in a male dominated profession. Your style rocks - professional and fashionable. Not always an easy balance to achieve.

Everything is fantastic but the dresses knock me out. I also love your weekend outfit, the cowboy boots & fur with that dress is so funky in a great way. Original & zesty.

I thought of Kim Novak when I looked at the pictures. Just Wow! The white suit is so great. Movie Star glam.

That's " Superstar drops the mic' " cool, Bijou

Christy - I find YLF has helped me so much with getting the balance right.

Opaline - so glad you like the dresses. I am being very selective on what dresses I buy this season because this one in / one out policy is making me have to give up something - which is good as I really have to think about what needs replacing or updating rather than just buying something because I like it.

Style Fan - Kim Novak is a style inspiration for me - so thank you so very much for the comparison. I love that classic style of dress of Hitchcock movies.

Cee - you make me laugh - thanks!
