Love!! I have the same issues with bangs. If they get too long they start hitting into the glasses and doing weird stuff. As you say llive with it a couple of days and see how it dries. It did look like current length might be your optimal precut length, but of course, it all depends on how you like to wear them!! Either way awesome cut!!
