I adored my Coach bags from the late eighties and was so dismayed at the garish, logoed, tacky bags that they have featured in the past decade. Now these Coach bags make me want to get out my credit card!
YES. Very different look for Coach. Leave no retail stone unturned. Each retailer is allowed to prove themselves and start afresh at the beginning of the season because things change.
I think you have to buy something once, and then not buy for a couple of years. They've been sending me coupons for the past year or so. I usually give them away...but now I can't find the one I just got! I can't use it or share it. Sorry.
I was intrigued by their new line when I got the first email about it. I'm glad to here that the quality isn't lacking, which is what turned me off to Coach bags for quite some time. I'm thinking I need to start dropping hints for Valentine's Day.
Checked out my local Coach store today...one of them had a def Prada vibe, but was a wee bit small and the handle drop was too short for me. Worth a look, though, and maybe I will consider if my needs change.
Wasn't the recent but now departed Coach designer someone named Reed Krakoff, or something like that? I saw his apartment in a decorating magazine a year or so ago, and his kitchen chairs were upholstered in turquoise ostrich skin. Ugh!!! Perhaps Coach now has a designer with more taste. I think there is a Coach bag in my future.
Wow! Those are beautiful! Glad to see they are doing what they were originally famous for-their beautiful leather! The signature prints are great but I feel like they started to stray away from their quality goods in order to appeal to a wider range, which is perfectly fine, but its good to see classic craftsmanship making a comeback.
