As I have said, I love these so much! Questions: what would be a better belt? The thick brown leather doesn't seem right. Also, how do you style an oblong silk scarf? I had given up on this shape--then got this as a gift--then remembered why I don't wear silk rectangles. But I love the colors.

They look great so I see why you love them! I think a tan/taupe belt would be a nice neutral (saying the person who's been wearing hers almost daily lately). But if you want to have more fun maybe a lighter animal print belt? Or some minty green color if that would fit into your wardrobe.

I love the way you have styled this. You could try a white belt but the brown belt works with the blue top quite well I think.

I can see why you love them, Adelfa. These jeans are fab on you, as is that blue top, what a fantastic colour on you! I too like the darker belt here, but if you want to mix things up, I love Textstyle and Denise's suggestions. A silver or gold metallic could also work.

I hear you on the scarf, it's beautiful for sure, but they're not the easiest to wear. Yours looks great here though. Do you think it's wide enough to try the "strict" version of the Angie knot (scroll down a bit in this post:)

What about a light blue belt or some other fun color? I just saw a bunch in Esprit and had to sit on my hands not to buy one. Love the blue and cobalt. Cognac would work too or white for a belt. For the oblong scarf, tying it like a turtleneck (wrapped around your throat) with a little knot in front is cute, but not for summer so much.

I like how you've styled these jeans, with the faux-semi-tucked top, scarf, and sandals. The jeans jacket is a great topper, too. The dark belt is fine with the dark top, but I like the idea of a light neutral, too. If you match your sandals, then you'll always have a combo that will work easily.

After listening to all your helpful advice, I bought two belts from Angie's summer belt post (which I'd forgotten about), a bone with silver accents and a silver (I think, couldn't quite see) with gold buckle and stitching. I WISH I could commit to one metal, but the fact is I'm never happy unless I have both gold and silver options to accessorize my outfits.

I'm definitely in the market for a light tan belt, but didn't find one right away. I see that the darker belt can work with a darker top, though, so thank you!

I think I qualify as what Angie calls "belt phobic," or did, so now I'm filling in holes. I think a couple of years ago (like two Christmases ago) I didn't own any belts. DD bought me one for Christmas and made me buy another at the Lucky store.
