Those are GREAT shoes! I want them! Where did you get them?
I get a lot of compliments on a statement sweater I have.

I wear it in a more asymmetrical way.

Those are indeed compliment worthy shoes. I do receive compliments on footwear, my cowboy boots, which are from TN. In my area, no one wears them so they stick out. I also get compliments on my wrap and poncho, items from England and Portugal. I guess you could say all my souvenirs get the most compliments.

I've gotten a lot of compliments on this jacket.

It is so interesting to see what those special items are - I think it may be grey hair, shoes and glasses for the win!
This thread is slightly dangerous as I have seen lots of items that I would love to have in my wardrobe - especially the boots - Brooklyn I am a fellow bootaholic!
Smittie my shoes were purchased in a local boutique called Dimario (it is on the web at http://www.dimario.com.au) and the brand is Italian called XSA. This is my favourite place to buy shoes.

My hair and my hats by a mile.

The Zara embroidered jacket and the faux rockstuds (which folks think are the real deal) draw positive comments every time I take them out to play.
A new silver foil top (worn 4 times around the holidays) gets lots of comments too.

Great shoes! No wonder you get lots of compliments on them! I get the most compliments on shoes and jewelry. I think they're the easiest thing for people to complement that won't get misconstrued, especially by men in the workplace.

Great shoes!

My most complimented item is shoes, mostly booties. I don't have much chance to wear the leopard ones, but every time I wear them, I always get extra attention.

Everyone here has such interesting personal style! I LOVE YLF!!!!!!

For me, hands down, it is the white hair, which I wear straight, parted on the side, more or less (depending on where I am in the haircut cycle) shoulder length. And to think I was terrified of letting my undyed hair see the light of day????!

This is a fun post! Those are great shoes Bijou. I forgot to mention that in my original post. Sophie does get a lot of attention.

What a fun thread, Bijou! I love all the uniqueness shown here. By far, the most attention I've received on an article of clothing is my TT "coat of many colors!" I wore it last week to the YSL exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum followed by lunch and a little shopping, and received a multitude of compliments. Best coat ever for so many reasons!

Bijou, your shoes are fab and fun! My most complimented item is a tie between an animal print raincoat and a pair of animal print booties. The raincoat is the oldest (about 5 years) so technically I've received the most compliments on it.

My navy D&B handbag and my hair

Random strangers stop me on the street when I'm wearing these shoes. And my purple Ed Hardy sneakers but they are wearing out so I am conserving them so the yellow ones get more wear.

Great shoes!

Footwear for me, too and has mostly been several pairs of low- heeled but interesting shoes.

Since I attached a lush white fox fur collar to edge the hood of my ivory down parka, I've had loads of compliments--there's something magical about fur framing the face, I think. And it's so nice to be bundled up, warm and comfortable in the snow, and be told by a neighbor, "You look like Lara in Dr. Zhivago!"
